Charles Hathaway and I chatted with the manager, who gave us some insights
on the station's history (it has been on that corner since the 1920s) and
told of the unfortunate mandatory switchover away from the spinning 76 ball
motif in a few months. He encouraged much photography of the historic
artifacts the station still holds.
