Looking through the Sacramento Bee archives, Times Supermarket (an independent
grocery which took over after Alpha-Beta's 1985 pullout) ended up in a legal
battle with its supplier Fleming, while trying to deal with pro-union picketers
early on. In September 1988, Sunrise Village investors sued the supermarket
to force eviction.
